While ” every man’s home is his castle” unlike real castles, properties should not be left lying vacant to rot into eternity. Sligo Housing Action Group are researching the vacant housing situation in Sligo. Derelict properties in Sligo can be purchased,  refurbished and used for housing . We have included pictures of some properties below that could be put to good use.  Why are they sitting idle, year after year whilst they could be used to provide homes, regenerate our town and use infrastructure that is already available?
